GibSea 43" is outwardly of striking appearance, with a fairly low coach roof, large cockpit with 2 wheels and a dark blue spray hood and sail cover. Anchoring is aided by an electric anchor windlass. The accommodation is flexible in that the forecabin can be used as a spacious en-suite with double berth and seating or can be divided allowing the seating area to become a separate cabin with 2 bunks. She has 2 separate double cabins aft which means that without utilising the saloon she can sleep 8. The saloon has a large dinette to starboard and to port the spacious galley and the second toilet. To starboard is also the chart table and navigation area with the usual instruments including GPS,Radar, Stereo, Television, Electrical Generator, Air Conditioned and Navtex. Central heating by hot air has been installed. The engine is a Volvo Penta giving 50hp by conventional shaft drive allowing up to 8 knots under power.
